Float Control Valve is engineered to provide precise, automatic liquid level regulation in storage tanks, reservoirs, water towers, and balancing basins. Operating without external electrical power or manual control, this self-actuated valve uses a buoyant float mechanism to sense fluid levels directly and modulate the main valve disc accordingly, maintaining a consistent water line and preventing tank overflow or dry running.

When liquid levels drop below the desired set point, the float lowers, opening the pilot mechanism or lever linkage to vent pressure from the main valve control chamber. This pressure differential causes the main valve disc to open fully, refilling the reservoir. As the fluid reaches the preset high-water mark, the rising float triggers the pilot to recharge the control chamber, creating a drop-tight seal to stop the inflow.

Key Features

  • Automatic Level Modulation: Continuously balances tank inflow against downstream demand to sustain precise fluid levels without operator intervention.

  • Non-Slam Hydraulic Closure: Smooth, controlled closing speed prevents water hammer and pressure surges across the supply piping network.

  • Adjustable Level Set-Points: Heavy-duty counterweights and adjustable float rods allow site engineers to fine-tune high and low water switching thresholds easily.

  • Remote Pilot Configuration: Available with remote float pilots, enabling the main control valve to be installed at ground level while the float pilot monitors the elevated tank crest.

  • Durable Corrosion-Resistant Trim: Stainless steel pilot tubing, bronze/SS pilot bodies, and epoxy-coated main valve bodies ensure reliable performance in raw and treated water applications.

Brands We Provide

Applications

  • Municipal Water Storage Tanks & Elevated Reservoirs

  • Commercial High-Rise Building Break Tanks & Fire Reserves

  • Industrial Process Water Storage & Cooling Tower Basins

  • Agricultural Irrigation Holding Ponds & Livestock Distribution Lines

  • Desalination Plant Raw Water Buffer Tanks
